CUSTOM ENGRAVING SERVICES REFUND POLICY: Custom Engraving Services does not offer refunds on our custom made products. Please read our policy on returning products that have spelling mistakes caused by either engraving error on the part of Custom Engraving Services, or errors in submission, by customer, of text to be engraved, size or color of the plaque or sign being ordered .

Please read the following policy on returning engraved products for corrections in engraved text or graphics, or items damaged in shipment. 1: Custom engraved Corian ® Plaques and Wood Signs:Engraved text, size of plaque or wood sign, color of Corian® (with ‘beveled' or ‘rough' edges), photos to be included, or graphics to be engraved must be submitted by customer in writing. If an error is made in engraving of text on the plaque or sign ordered, and the error is the fault of Custom Engraving Services, we will replace the product at no cost to you. If error was caused by Custom Engraving Services, custom product must be shipped back to us for inspection. In that case, shipping costs of returning product will be reimbursed to customer.
If the error was due to incorrectly submitted text by the customer, or other details of the plaque or sign being ordered were incorrectly submitted by customer, customer must submit additional payment to have plaque or sign re-done and re-shipped to customer. In that case, we do not require customer to return the custom product.
Please note: Wood signs as shown on website http://engravingstation.com/woodsigns/indexwoodsigns.html have been ordered by previous customers. No two wood signs will look exactly the same as each sign is cut from different aromatic cedar boards. Some signs have bark remaining on edges, some do not. Each custom wood sign will be unique. Each custom wood sign will be made from available cedar wood boards and section of board chosen, or layout chosen for the wood sign are determined by Custom Engraving Services based on the amount of text or graphics to be engraved where space allows on board chosen for project.
Products damaged in shipment will be retrieved by the shipping service provider chosen by Custom Engraving Services. (In most cases, Federal Express will be the chosen shipper). If the package arrives damaged, and the product inside the box is broken or damaged in any way, Federal Express will retrieve the package for inspection and return it to Custom Engraving Services at no cost to customer. After inspection of the returned product by Federal Express and Custom Engraving Services it is determined that product was indeed damaged in shipment, C.E.S. will send a re-manufactured product to customer at no expense to the customer.
2: Custom ordered Porcelain Photo tiles or MetalPhotos included with plaque or as stand alone products: Important note on color reproduction on kiln fired porcelain photo tiles: Ceramic toners do not have the variety of combinations to produce the millions of colors that digital photography has given us. Magenta (red) is made from gold and as such gives a browner hue to the reds. The reason magenta is used is that the other red (Cadmium) does not mix readily with other toners. When the toners are fired in the kiln, they change color slightly. This means that the colors on the decal to be fired do not look the same color as the finished picture. As the color difference has to be judged by eye, we cannot guarantee that the final plaque is identical in every way to the original photo. Photos submitted by customer for reproducing on either color or black and white porcelain photos or MetalPhotos are accepted "as is". The quality and appearance of the final reproduction will only be as good as the original photo submitted. Adjustments may have to be made to the photos submitted to correct contrast or brightness, cropping, or other minor image adjustments. Any adjustments made to the photos will be emailed to the customer upon request for their approval before final reproduction is made.
